1. Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to Finianews and the FiniAlfa mobile application (collectively, the "Services"). The Services are operated from Croatia. By using the website at finianews.com or the FiniAlfa Android application, you agree to these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and subscribers of the Services.

2. About the Services

Finianews (finianews.com) is a financial news portal that aggregates publicly available news, market data, and educational content about personal finance.

FiniAlfa is an Android mobile application for personal finance tracking — expenses, budgets, savings goals, loans, and related tools.

3. Not Financial Advice

The Services do not provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.All content — including calculators, articles, market data, news summaries, and AI-generated insights — is provided for educational and informational purposes only.

Financial decisions are entirely your own responsibility. Consult a licensed financial advisor, tax professional, or legal counsel before making decisions based on information from the Services. We make no warranties regarding accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data, calculations, or recommendations.

4. User Accounts and Data

The FiniAlfa application stores your financial data locally on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal financial information on our servers. You are responsible for backing up your data — if you uninstall the app or change devices without exporting, your data may be lost.

The Finianews website may use cookies for analytics (Google Analytics) and newsletter signup. See our Privacy Policy for details.

5. Subscriptions (FiniAlfa Pro)

The FiniAlfa app offers an optional Pro subscription with the following plans:

• FiniAlfa Pro Monthly — €2.99 per month, auto-renewing
• FiniAlfa Pro Yearly — €24.99 per year, auto-renewing

Billing. Subscriptions are processed through Google Play Billing. Payment is charged to your Google Play account upon confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Cancellation. You can cancel anytime through Google Play (play.google.com/store/account/subscriptions). Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You retain Pro access until then.

Refunds. Refund requests are handled by Google Play according to Google's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Free trial. If a free trial is offered, it converts to a paid subscription automatically unless cancelled before trial end.

Price changes. Subscription prices may change. You will be notified before any price change takes effect through the Play Store, with the option to cancel if you do not agree.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Services for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the FiniAlfa app
• Resell, redistribute, or sublicense the Services
• Use automated scrapers, bots, or harvesters on finianews.com
• Attempt to bypass subscription verification or feature gates
• Submit false information to manipulate Service functionality

7. Intellectual Property

All content on the Services — design, code, original articles, calculators, branding — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. News headlines and snippets aggregated from third-party sources remain the property of their respective publishers and link back to the original sources.

8. Third-Party Content

The Services display content from third parties (news publishers, market data providers, Eurostat, TradingView, etc.). We do not endorse or warrant third-party content. Use of third-party links is at your own risk.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages arising from your use of the Services, including but not limited to financial losses resulting from reliance on information provided.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable consumer protection laws.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access to the Services at any time for violation of these Terms or for other reasonable cause. Subscription users will retain access until the end of the paid period unless terminated for fraud or abuse.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on the website. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Croatia. Any disputes will be resolved by the competent courts in Rijeka, Croatia, unless mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
